Pantry is a coffee shop that feels both different and new, yet very familiar. The aim was to create a space that welcomes you and that feels like you are walking into someone’s kitchen. A place where the boundary between barista and customer is blurred. The space incorporatordinary elements from everyday life. Things that we interact with daily, but often overlook.
We started with the larger elements: a kitchen-inspired layout with a central island, a standalone fridge, and functional open shelving. Then came smaller, familiar objects—wall appliques, beautiful kettles, jugs, and textured fabrics.
Pantry is also about the details. You’ll see design sketches from the creative process carefully embroidered into fabric, and transformed into curtains. Pantry is a space that celebrates the ordinary—turning the familiar into something calming and delicate.
